Editor's note: The Pasco County School District and Anna Falcone reached an agreement that allowed her to resign from her job as principal. In addition, the Florida Department of Education dismissed its administrative complaint against Falcone on April 27. 2015. She faced no discipline. You can read the notice of dismissal here.

"In anticipation of a written agreement, we have canceled the hearing," district spokeswoman Linda Cobbe told the Gradebook. Attorneys for Falcone, who has fought her dismissal, and the district are working out the details, which are not yet complete.

Superintendent Kurt Browning already has appointed Aimee Boltze as Connerton's new principal, and said he would not reappoint Falcone to an administrative post for 2013-14.
