As they prepare for a crucial SEC East showdown against Tennessee, the Gators will get a critical member of the offense back.
Left tackle D.J. Humphries, who has missed the past two games due to leg injuries, is expected to return for the Tennessee game.
"I'm good," Humphries said. "I'm pretty good, moving around well, running good."
Humphries has battled injuries before, and said it's been tough because of the way he's been injured.
"Yeah, it was one of those things like, 'Here it is again,' you know what I mean?," Humphries said. "I never really had any injuries where I did anything that hurt me. I always have people kind of falling on me. It was one of them things like, 'Again?' I'm more ready now, though. Back on the field. I'm happy."
With Humphries out, Rod Johnson took ove the left tackle position and Humphries said he performed admirably.
"Rod's stepped up big time," Humphries said. "I tell him every day that I'm proud of him. That's like my little brother, so I tell him all the time how proud I am of him. He listens. He wants to be great. He's gonna be a good player because he wants to be. He listens to the old guys and we tell him what to do and how to do certain stuff so super proud of him."
