Inkwood Books presents former U.S. poet laureate Billy Collins (Aimless Love) reading and discussing his work at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the David A. Winter Lights: Stories and Poems of Illumination, a holiday reading of selected works by local writers to benefit Keep St. Pete Lit and Brookwood Florida Girls Home, will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Barnes & Noble St. Petersburg, 2501 Tyrone Blvd. N.

Safety Harbor Public Library presents Eddie Donnally (Ride the White Horse) discussing and signing his memoir of addiction and redemption at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the library, 101 Second St. N.
