Reader's Exchange: Drum circle needs equipment to be complete

Published June 20, 2012

It's summer, and the High Point Neighborhood Family Center's summer camp has begun. This year, a talent show is in the works. Three boys would like to make their own drum circle, so they are seeking four drums, three for them and one for their teacher. If they are not able to get drums, they will use 5-gallon buckets. They also need drumsticks. If you can help, please call Caroline Brown at (727) 533-0730, ext. 213, or drop off your donations at 5812 150th Ave. N in Clearwater.

Nancy of Brooksville is looking for a remote control for a Daewoo VCR. She says the VCR, which is older, works well, but the remote has some number buttons that stick. She has trouble with her fingers, and other VCRs she has tried just don't seem to work for her. However, if someone has a complete VCR with a working remote to donate, she will give it a shot. Nancy can be reached at (352) 597-5076.
