Art Festival Beth-El: This annual fine art exhibit and sale features more than 150 local and international award-winning artists, signed limited edition prints from Syd Entel Galleries, selected works by Pinellas County student artists, a large outdoor sculpture and a boutique gallery with fine art for sale. See it all at 11 a.m. at Temple Beth-El, 400 Pasadena Ave. S, St. Petersburg. Free. (727) 347-6136 .

Gaspar: A Pirate Fantasy: The swashbuckling ballet returns to tell the tale of Jose Gaspar, Tampa's most famous pirate, with lots of sword fighters and acrobats. A KidsFest taking place in conjunction with the show offers a magician, face painting, pirates, art/coloring centers and a visit with ballet dancers from Gaspar Ballet. It all starts at 1 p.m. at Ferguson Hall at David A. Straz Jr. Center for the Performing Arts, 1010 N MacInnes Place, Tampa. Tickets start at $19, $10 for children 12 and under. Roberta Flack: The 74-year-old Grammy Award-winning songstress traverses a broad musical landscape from pop and soul to folk and jazz at 7 p.m. at Mahaffey Theater, 400 First St. S, St. Petersburg. $30-$65. (727) 892-5798; mahaffeytheater.com.
