TV fans have seen everyone from Oscar-winning actor Al Pacino to the crab fisherman from Discovery Channel's Deadliest Catch bring stage shows to area theaters where they talk about the stuff they do on television and film — essentially a huge meet-and-greet for enthusiasts with a ticket charge. But CNN anchor Anderson Cooper may be one of the few working journalists to tackle such a project, bringing his Anderson Cooper's 360 World View Tour to the Straz Center in Tampa on Sept. 23 — about a month after the world's media converges here for the 2012 Republican National Convention. The early word is that his appearance will include a 90-minute speech covering his career highlights and current events. Whether he'll discuss his revelation nearly two weeks ago that he is gay is anyone's guess (he hasn't spoken publicly on the issue). Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show in the Straz's Carol Morsani Hall go on sale Friday, priced starting at $39.50 or $175 for access to a post-show meet-and-greet with Cooper.
