After 16 years on air, political comedian Jon Stewart will leave the Daily Show on Comedy Central tonight. Stewart has said that he would like to spend more time with his family. Meanwhile, actors and others in the entertainment industry have been giving their bon voyage (#jonvoyage) to the comedian.

Daily Show writer Travon Free:

Tonight's penultimate #DailyShow is a great one and I couldn't be more proud to have worked on it. Enjoy it folks.

Head writer at the nightly show with Larry Wilmore Robin Thede:

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL JON STEWART DAY EVERYBODY! #DailyShow #JonVoyage

Co creator of The Daily Show Lizz Winstead:

We all know what happens to a strong foundation when a genius like Jon Stewart builds upon it. It becomes a classic 1/3 #JonVoyage

Actor Patton Oswalt:

You used outrageousness to aim outrage where it needed to go. So #JonVoyage, and thank you.

A look back into the archives reveals a recent segment of the Daily Show about the sunshine state. Stewart takes on same-sex marriage, Marco Rubio and #FloridaMan in this clip from January 13, 2015 in which Rubio accuses Stewart of being "a candidate for a lizard-beating."
