If you've ever wanted to dive down a giant waterslide in the pitch black of night while splashing round in neon glow-in-the-dark water, head to Lakeland on June 30.
That's when the Blacklight Slide will be set up at the Sun 'n Fun in Lakeland, and the event promises to be a raving good time.
Starting after the sun goes down, the glow-in-the-dark waterslide — which was at the Florida State Fairgrounds in October 2016 — boasts a live DJ and dance party to surround the wet and wild activities. It also will offer unlimited trips down the slide with the purchase of a ticket.
Prices start at $20 if bought before Wednesday, but will go up to $50 after that. The organization states it will donate a portion of the ticket sales to the Bulls for Kids charity.
Patrons can register for a race that will take place the day of the event.
