The first photos for Tim Burton's Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children have arrived.

Both Entertainment Weekly and Empire have different photos, in "exclusive" firsts.

Miss Peregrine was partly filmed around Tampa Bay last February (then the rest of the filming took place in London). Read movie critic Steve Persall's report from a Belleair Bluffs neighborhood and join us in speculating whether any local scenes are recognizable in the stills. (Yeah, okay, probably not yet.)

In other local-related movie news, Ben Affleck's back tattoo, the one everyone hates so much Lydia Harvey named Batfleck our loser of the week, was first captured in photoos on the sets of Live By Night. The movie is an Ybor City-set adaptation of Dennis Lehane's novel, but is not being filmed locally due to lack of incentives.
