Florida Gators-LSU rivalry gets kicked up another notch

As if the Florida Gators-LSU rivalry needed any more juice...

The Gators announced Thursday that the Oct. 7 game against the Tigers will be UF's homecoming.

The series took an interesting twist last fall, as you might remember. The game was postponed because of Hurricane Matthew. LSU suggested it happened because UF was trying to duck the Tigers. The Gators took offense to that, played a home game on the road and beat LSU to win the SEC East. Jim McElwain said LSU got what it deserved.

So yeah, stay tuned.

UF, by the way, is 67-24-2 all time in homecoming games.
