Another state lawmaker is taking a post in President Donald Trump's administration.

State Rep. Neil Combee on Wednesday alerted House Speaker Richard Corcoran by letter that he is resigning to take a job as director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Farm Service Agency, effective Nov. 24.

Last month, the Trump administration announced the appointment of state Rep. Carlos Trujillo, R-Miami, to be U.S. ambassador to the Organization of American States. Trujillo remains in office as he awaits confirmation by the U.S. Senate.
