Florida Congresswoman Lois Frankel is not holding back in calls for impeaching President Donald Trump, even as Democratic leaders are cautious of proceeding too quickly with investigations still ongoing.

The West Palm Beach Democrat today sent a campaign email to her supporters calling on them to support the process, calling Trump "beyond unfit."

"Regardless of judicial investigations, one of the powers of Congress is to make sure the person in the Oval Office is doing their job correctly," she writes. "We need to start the process of impeachment and take a hard look at the job Donald Trump is doing."

Frankel is one of the leaders of the Democratic Women's Working Group and this week helped organize a letter, signed by nearly 60 House members, to the Chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform requesting an investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct against President Trump.

"At least 17 women have publicly accused the President of sexual misconduct, including forced kissing, and unwanted touching and groping. Mr. Trump has denied the allegations and called the women liars," read a release from Frankel.

Other Florida Reps. signing the letter:

Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Kathy Castor, Val Demings, Alcee Hastings, Stephanie Murphy, Charlie Crist, Darren Soto, Ted Deutch, Frederica Wilson.
