Today is the first day that the Florida Supreme Court airs its proceedings live on Facebook.
It’s a good day for it as justices will hear oral arguments on red light cameras, an issue that has a broad reach with the public.
According to former Times Tallahassee Bureau chief Lucy Morgan, Florida courts have long pushed for more public access to courts, ruling in the 1970s to allow cameras in courtrooms all over the state.
But Wednesday will go down as allowing more access than ever before. Enjoy!
