It has been a week of events for Gov. Rick Scott as he touts his finally-official U.S. Senate campaign.
Friday brings a big one: a campaign rally in the Republican stronghold of The Villages with Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam.
Will there be an endorsement? Easy for Putnam to offer that, given there is no real competition for Scott. But a little harder for the governor to give Putnam a boost in his competitive primary for Florida governor.
We'll just have to see. The event starts at 2 p.m. at the Fenney Recreation Center, on Fenney Way. Fenney is touted as the "The Villages' newest neighborho0d."
