The 2018 Republican candidates for governor of Florida will meet in a primary debate on June 28 in Orlando.

The debate, which will begin at 6:30 p.m., is sponsored by Fox New Channel and the Republican Party of Florida, according to a statement from the RPOF.

Bret Baier, a Fox News anchor, and Martha MacCallum, anchor of The Story, will moderate the debate at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center.

It will be part of the two-day Sunshine Summit where Republican candidates gather with voters.

“In recent years, Florida has taken center stage in several pivotal elections and this year will be no different,” RPOF chairman Blaise Ingoglia said in the statement. “These midterm elections are critical and as a battleground state all eyes will once again be on the Sunshine State.”
