Florida’s general election date is Tuesday, Nov. 6. But many people have already cast mail ballots and will be voting early by the end of October. Up for consideration: U.S. Senator, numerous congressional seats, Florida governor and county commission seats.
To help Floridians make the most informed decisions at the polls, the Tampa Bay Times surveyed 100 candidates for the biggest federal, state and local races on all sorts of issues.
Use the Times “Know Your Candidate" voter guide to search for your candidates by address. The candidates you are eligible to vote for will appear below. Then, tap through the questions and answers to see what they think about the biggest issues, like gun rights, opioids and education.
(This project uses Google’s Civic Information API for voter precinct information. For your official sample ballot, visit the Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco or Hernando board of elections.)
