President Trump in Tampa last night hit the expected notes, reveling in the 2016 victory, boasting about the economy and himself, saying he's the most popular Republican, ever.
But Trump did not invoke his burning focus: The Mueller probe. There was no extended rant on a "witch hunt," though the president has brought it up at rallies before.
This morning, back in Washington, Trump resumed his fire, saying Attorney Jeff Sessions "should stop this Rigged Witch Hunt right now, before it continues to stain our country and further."
The Mueller probe has resulted in a number of guilty pleas and charges against 12 Russian nationals for hacking Democratic networks. Paul Manafort is on trial.
