Winner of the week

Greyhound Tracks. The respite could be temporary, but a circuit court judge last week ruled that a constitutional amendment intended to end dog racing in Florida is misleading and should be thrown off the ballot. Attorney General Pam Bondi has appealed.

Loser of the week

Tampa Bay's image. Thanks to Donald Trump's campaign rally last week at the Florida State Fairgrounds, Tampa drew a ton of national publicity last week. Most of it concerned very, very angry people hurling insults and impolite hand gestures at a CNN reporter and/or the ubiquitous presence in Tampa of people proudly touting a far right, fringe conspiracy theory.
