It's the Democratic version of the Trump Factor.

Call it "Feeling the Bern."

Like President Trump, Bernie Sanders is very, very popular with a large segment of the base, this one on the left.

Like Trump and Ron DeSantis, Sanders has endorsed someone who is running for Florida governor, Democratic Mayor Andrew Gillum.

And like Trump, Sanders is doubling down on that endorsement and campaigning in Florida for his candidate.

Doors open Friday at 10 a.m. at the Armature Works on 1910 N. Ola Ave. The event starts at 11 a.m. Get your tickers here.

The Gillum campaign then heads to Orlando with Sanders for a 2 p.m. event.

Will Sanders have the same effect on the Democratic side that Trump did?

Time will tell.
