March For Our Lives is finishing its 2018 voter registration efforts with a flourish.
The gun safety group founded by survivors of the February mass shooting in Parkland announced Thursday evening it would add 12 dates to its fall tour. The group will now visit 12 cities across seven states in the 12 days before election day, Nov. 6.
"These final 12 days are a part of their nationwide Vote For Our Lives tour which represents the culmination of an extensive 9-month voter registration and engagement effort launched in the aftermath of the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida," the group said in a release.
Before Thursday's announcement, the group's fall tour included dates in major cities like Boston, New York and Seattle. Among the newly announced stops are dates in Miami on Oct. 27, Sarasota on Oct. 30 and Orlando on Oct. 31. All of the planned festivities will be held on college campuses, where March For Our Lives will host of a variety of get out the vote activities.
"Events will include GOTV rallies, Dorm Storms, concerts, student bbqs and much more," the group said in its release.
March For Our Lives previously embarked on two voter registration "Road to Change" bus tours over the summer. The group split for those tours, with some members holding voter registration rallies all over the country, while others made dozens of stops all over Florida.
