President Donald Trump’s longtime personal lawyer Michael Cohen will testify before the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday in what is expected to be an explosive and contentious hearing.

So it immediately raised eyebrows when U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fort Walton Beach, directed this menacing Tweet at Cohen on Tuesday, the eve of his testimony.

Walter Schaub, the former director of the Office of Government Ethics replied to Gaetz’s Tweet with the federal statute for tampering with a witness.

The Florida Republican denied that he was witness tampering, according to a Vox reporter.
