Celebrate Mother’s Day by treating Mom to brunch. Tampa Bay restaurants have promised everything from buffets to multicourse spreads, so dig in. All brunches are on Sunday unless otherwise noted.

Bon Appetit Restaurant

The waterfront stalwart presents a four-course plated dinner in its main dining room. But for brunch, head to the Crystal Ballroom where various hot and cold dishes mingle with classics like eggs Benedict, prime rib, lamb and Belgian waffles. Columbia Restaurant

A quartet of Mother’s Day features — fried yuca with spicy tomato jam and garlic aioli, scallops, adobo-rubbed lamb lion medallions and dulce de leche chocolate cake — is up for grabs at the Columbia’s local outposts in Ybor City, Sarasota and Clearwater Beach. Mimosas, made-to-order omelet and carving stations, salads, sushi and hot and cold entrees are among the seasonally inspired brunch eats that await. Carrabba’s Italian Grill

This seems more like an early, food coma-inducing lunch, but maybe you’re up for it. Carrabba’s opens 30 minutes early to serve favorites such as Chicken Bryan, lobster ravioli and Tuscan-grilled lamb chops. 10:30 a.m. Locations vary. carrabbas.com.

Compass Grille

Held annually, this buffet features a mix of traditional breakfast and brunch dishes, plus a free mimosa for the guests of honor.
