She didn’t get service ‘her way,’ apparently.

A Pinellas woman was arrested Saturday afternoon for throwing hot coffee on a Burger King employee, burning the worker’s arms, hands and face, according to deputies.

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office says 18-year-old Anastasia Lantier, of St. Petersburg, initially went into the Burger King off of Seminole Boulevard in Seminole to solve an issue that began in the restaurant’s drive-thru.

After Lantier entered the restaurant, the argument between the two quickly turned violent, deputies said, prompting Lantier to grab a cup of coffee off a counter and hurl it at the employee, a 21-year-old girl. The cup contained scalding coffee measured at 250 F, Lantier’s arrest affidavit says.

Lantier also scratched the worker, according to the affidavit. The worker fought back, deputies said, but the altercation ended before deputies arrived at the scene.

Deputies would later make contact with Lantier at her St. Petersburg home and question her, where she then claimed to "not know what was in the coffee cup or what she was going to do with it.”

After she admitted to throwing the coffee, deputies arrested Lantier on a felony aggravated battery charge for “causing great bodily harm, permanent disability, or permanent disfigurement."

The extent to the workers injuries are not described in court records.

Lantier posted $10,000 bond on Saturday night.
