DEVELOPING: Having lost two straight to the White Sox, the Rays will try again tonight and they will have major-league ERA leader Matt Moore on the mound.

Moore, the 23-year-old lefty, is 4-0, and his 1.04 ERA is the best in the majors at the start of play today.

The Sox will counter with RHP Gavin Floyd, who doesn't have a win yet despite pitching relatively well.

SS Yunel Escobar is hoping to return to the Rays lineup, having been out since leaving Wednesday's game with right hamstring tightness. He was going through an early workout this afternoon with head athletic trainder Ron Porterfield.

Moore has a chance to set the Rays team record for April with his fifth win, and tie their record for any month.

Lineups shortly.
