DEVELOPING: After Thursday's tough 5-4 walkoff loss, the Rays are set to take on the Yankees again tonight, though rain could be an issue early in the evening.

Rookie LHP Blake Snell will be on the mound for the Rays, facing the Yankees for the third time. After a rough four-game stretch, Snell is coming off an improved outing vs. Toronto.

RHP Michael Pineda will start for the Yankees, who are making an unexpected playoff push.

The Rays got two homers each Thursday from Kevin Kiermaier and Steven Souza Jr. and a solid outing from Alex Cobb but lost when Erasmo Ramirez gave up a two-out full-count homer in the ninth to Tyler Austin.
