Citra North Marion receiver Freddie Swain orally committed to Florida today, giving the Gators another four-star prospect in one of the nation's top 20 classes.
The 6-foot-1, 188-pound Swain is ranked as the No. 35 receiver nationally and the state's No. 32 overall recruit by 247Sports. Rivals considers him the state's No. 21 prospect.
The early enrollee candidate chose UF over Miami, South Carolina, LSU, USC and Tennessee.
With the commitment, UF has the No. 14 recruiting class, according to Rivals and 247Sports. Swain is the sixth four-star recruit to commit to UF (using Rivals' rankings).
Swain leads North Marion with 22 catches for 361 yards and two touchdowns - including one last month against Pasco.
Oral commitments are non-binding until recruits sign letters of intent in February.
