5 things to do under $5 Dec. 13-19

1$5 after 5 at Imagine Museum: You can now view the gorgeous glass art at St. Petersburg's Imagine Museum on Thursdays for only $5. It's normally $15 admission to see the collection of major works of American studio glass art. Admission is $5 5-8 p.m. Thursdays. 1901 Central Ave, St. Petersburg. (727) 300-1700.

2 Boat parades: You have four chances to watch sailors trip the lights fantastically this week. One of the bigger boat parades in the area, Treasure Island's Lighted Parade, will be Friday with more than 50 decorated boats participating. And if you bring an unwrapped new toy by today to City Hall, 120 108th Ave., you will receive a free family pass to watch the parade from the Club at Treasure Island's party. Starting at 4:30 p.m. Friday there will be live entertainment, a visit by Santa, cash bar and food served poolside. Rain date is Sunday. Three other boat parades this week include:

Indian Rocks Beach: Motor boats, sail boats, canoes and even row boats will compete for awards by division. 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Holiday Inn Harbourside, 401 Second St., Indian Rocks Beach. Free.

Hernando Beach: Watch the parade from the yacht club, 4163 Shoal Line Blvd. 6 p.m. Saturday. Free.

Redington Beach/Indian Shores: Starts on the north side of the Tom Stuart Causeway, passes along the shorelines of Redington Beach and ends at Caddy's Pub for an awards ceremony and party. 6 p.m. Sunday. 20025 Gulf Blvd., Indian Shores. Free.

3 Build a Gingerbread Bookmobile: To celebrate its new Bookmobile, the Largo library invites fans of all ages to build their own bookmobile using graham crackers, icing and a variety of sweets. There's a Bookmobile open house at 4 p.m. Monday, followed by the gingerbread constructions at 6 p.m. Register at or call (727) 587-6715.

4 SkyWatch at MOSI: The space experts at Tampa's Museum of Science and Industry will be setting up telescopes Saturday night to observe the moon, Mars, Alberio, Pleiades and the Orion Nebula. 5 Reviverfest: Reviver Records' first foray into concert production will include performances by platinum-selling country artist David Lee Murphy, hitmaker Josh Gracin and Nashville-based country duo Haley and Michaels.
