1 Taylor Reed: For the Straz Center’s “Live and Local” series, the singer combines her backgrounds in Russian opera, pop, classical and gypsy jazz improv. Free. 6-9 p.m. Friday on the Riverwalk by the Straz Center. On Saturday, local soul-pop singer Danielle Mohr plays the Riverwalk at 6 p.m.

2 Student Fashion Show: The Dalí Museum spent weeks helping high school students learn design for this showcase of 30 surreal student designs of wearable art. The top five designs will be displayed in the window of Neiman Marcus at International Plaza. The fashion show is at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the Pinellas County Center for the Arts at Gibbs High School, 850 34th St. S, St. Petersburg. Free, but registration is required at thedali.org. 5 Disney Trivia: 3 Daughters Brewing is holding a Disney Trivia competition on Dec. 12, and they expect this free event to be so popular that teams will be capped at 50. Only one member of your team registers one Eventbrite ticket, and only one team member has to check in before 6:30 p.m. to secure a spot. If 50 teams haven’t signed up by 6 p.m. the day of the event, registration will open to those present. The top three teams will win gift cards.
