SEASON PREMIERE Lucifer, Netflix: The devil's work, apparently, is never done. After being canceled by Fox, Lucifer finds new life in the streaming universe. The 10-episode fourth season picks up about a month after May's cliffhanger, in which Lucifer (Tom Ellis) finally revealed his demonic side to Det. Chloe Decker (Lauren German). Gulp.

SEASON FINALE Modern Family, 9 p.m., ABC: The birth of Haley and Dylan's twins nears, and the show looks back at how each family member celebrated their birthdays over the past year. Let's hope there's enough cake to go around.
