Residents driving by High Point Elementary School in Clearwater could have easily been startled on Wednesday where dozens of Fire trucks, ambulances and Sheriff's cruisers remained parked on the streets outside for hours as Police officers from agencies across the county worked with first responders while attending the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office Active Assailant / Mass Casualty Exercise to evaluate and improve the overall preparedness of law enforcement, Pinellas County Schools officials and rescue agencies.
