Photos: Opening day for the Florida Strawberry Festival
The Florida Strawberry Festival began back in 1930 when members of the newly organized Plant City Lions Club wanted to celebrate the bountiful harvest of strawberries. Today, the annual event has become one of the best Festivals in the nation. The festival runs through Sunday, March 12.
