Hometown Hernando for July 26

Highlands Baptist Church of Weeki Wachee held an installation service on June 30 to welcome their its pastor and his wife, the Rev. Kevin and Nona Farmer. The service was attended by more than 110 invited guests. A welcoming dinner was held following the service. Rev. Farmer follows Rev. David Moore, who served for more than 21 years. Pastor ‘Kevin’ comes to Highlands from Swainsboro, Ga. He is a graduate of Georgia Southern University and holds a master of divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. He and his wife have been married for nearly 25 years. They live in Spring Hill. Pictured is the corporate prayer and the laying of hands.
