Rascal is an adorable white and tan brindle terrier mix, about 5 years old. He had several medical issues on impound, which shelter staff is addressing. Rascal loves to play in the spree area with volunteers and is ready to have a safe place he can call home. He is a very loving boy who needs a family to give him some TLC. Inquiries about adopting Rascal or other dogs and cats can be made at Hernando County Animal Services, 19450 Oliver St., Brooksville. Visiting hours are 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Adoption fees are $50 for adult dogs over 25 pounds, $70 for puppies and small dogs under 25 pounds, $25 for heartworm-positive and senior dogs, $20 for adult cats and $40 for kittens.
