Jasper is a 7-year-old, mixed-breed male dog. He lenjoys dog play groups. Jasper is afraid of thunderstorms and prefers to be by your side. Inquiries about adopting Jasper or other dogs and cats can be made at the Humane Society of the Nature Coast shelter at 7200 Mobley Road, Brooksville. Visiting hours are from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays. The shelter is run strictly on donations; no government subsidies are provided. Adoption fees are $200 for puppies and small dogs under 25 pounds, $100 for adult dogs over 25 pounds, $50 for senior dogs, $40 for adults cats, $65 for kittens and $25 for senior cats.
