WESLEY CHAPEL — Clean Juice opened its first franchise in Florida in Carrollwood in March 2017, and then expanded to South Tampa a year later.
Now the company, based in Charlotte, N.C., will open a new location. In December, Rachel Cobo, along with co-owner and fiancé Eric Rodriguez, will open a new location at The Shops at Wiregrass. The Wesley Chapel residents were looking to open a franchise close to home, and after visiting the corporate office, they knew it was a great fit.
“We loved the concept,” Cobo said. “It was something we believe in.”
Clean Juice is USDA certified organic and offers freshly made, organic smoothies, acai bowls, cold-pressed juices and fresh juices.
Cold-pressed juices are used for cleanses and have a shelf life of approximately five to eight days, while fresh juices are meant to be consumed within 30 minutes. After that time, the nutrients break down and then it just becomes sugar water.
In addition to juices, there is a small food menu that offers oat bowls, avocado toast and almond toast. There is also a kid’s menu, seasonal menu items, cold brew and regular coffee and catering is available.
Clean Juice is at 28211 Paseo Drive, Suite 970, near Macy’s. For more information, visit facebook.com/cleanjuicewiregrass.
