Nina came into rescue as a gangly puppy whose growth spurts outpaced her inexperienced owners. As the chocolate pooch grew taller, their hearts grew colder. Nina's confidence waned, and she still struggles with shyness. For a time, Nina exhaled in the comfort of a temporary but loving foster home — she's the snoozing angel on the left.
Nina now lives in a boarding facility, hoping to be discovered by a forever-family in time for her first birthday. Nina's dark brindle coloring depicts her lineage — a large mix of Mastiff and floppy-eared hound. She weighs in at nearly 70 pounds and will do best in a home without toddlers or kitties. Nina is a housebroken, obedience class graduate. She'll come fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped from SecondChanceFriends.org.
