Admiral Farragut wide receiver/safety Napoleon Maxwell has committed to Florida International. Maxwell has been a starter for the Blue Jackets since his freshman year and has been used all over the field.

As a senior, Maxwell rushed for 953 yards on 80 carries and caught 18 passes for 273 yards. He had a total of 16 touchdowns, including three kick returns for scores. As a safety, Maxwell had four interceptions.

Maxwell also had offers from Wyoming and Georgia State. He said he plans on taking a visit to FIU this weekend.

“I wasn’t worried about it,’’ Maxwell said. “I knew Florida International was where I wanted to go."
