Records through Thursday

1. Jesuit (16-0): Tigers are cruising into their Jesuit Baseball Easter Tournament next week, defeating opponents by an average of 12-1.

2. Steinbrenner (14-1): Remains undefeated in District 7A-9, notching wins over Wiregrass Ranch and Gaither this week.

3. Durant (13-4): Right-hander Tyler Danish extended his shutout streak to 49 innings in a 3-0 win over Alonso on Wednesday.

4. King (12-3): Lions extended their lead in District 6A-11 to three games after victories over Jefferson and Leto.

5. Brandon (13-4): Won four straight District 7A-8 games by a combined score of 38-5 after being knocked out of the Saladino Tournament.

6. Newsome (12-5): Remains one of the county’s surprising teams. The Cougars have a chance to sweep the regular-season series against District 8A-7 leader Durant on Tuesday.

7. Strawberry Crest (14-6): Moved into second place in District 6A-11 with a 3-2 win over Leto on Thursday.
