Clearwater Central Catholic defensive back Kyle Brittain has committed to play at Carnegie Mellon, Marauders coach John Davis said.

This past season, Brittain led CCC in tackles with 140, including 11 for loss. He also had three interceptions, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

Brittain has a 4.6 GPA and could be the class valedictorian. He was considering Dartmouth and MIT among other schools.
