The Pirates recorded their second shutout of the season thanks to a ferocious defense that recorded five turnovers (two fumble recoveries, three interceptions).

Terrion Davis returned one of the interceptions 98 yards for a touchdown. If Boca Ciega beats Tarpon Springs next week, it can force a three-way tie for the runnerup spot in Class 5A, District 8.
