SPRING HILL — Springstead celebrated homecoming with its second straight shutout and third of the season.

The Eagles (6-1) continued their dominance since losing their season opener to state-ranked Citrus. Quarterback Tyler Mahla had no issues leading the offense up and down the field as they ran out to a 28-0 lead at halftime.

Mahla ran his touchdown total for the season to 13 with four. Malcolm Fitts also found the end zone.

Central (0-7) has lost 15 straight dating to last season and has been shut out three times this year.
