Northside Christian first baseman Matt Gladfelter signed a letter of intent to play baseball at Midland University in Fremont, Neb.

Gladfelter is a three-year starter for the Mustangs and has a .330 career batting average. He was a Times' all-county honorable mention player last season. This season he is hitting .290 with six stolen bases.
