Pinellas Park guard Nick Preradovic committed to Johnson & Wales, an NAIA school in North Miami.

"They lost a lot of guards this year," Preradovic said. "I was told I was their number one recruit."

Preradovic, a long-range specialist, had condsidered transferring to Oldsmar Christian in the offseason before deciding to stay with the Patriots. He has averaged nearly 20 points per game and broke the school record for most points in a game with 42 against Dixie Hollins in a holiday tournament to surpass the previous mark of 39 held by former Pinellas Park standout Cam Carden.
