Sunlake swimmer Nicole Harder has signed with the University of West Florida, Seahawks coach Val Moehle said Friday in an email.

Harder won a district championship as a senior in the 500 freestyle and placed third at regionals. The two-time captain also swam the 200 free and participated on the 200 medley and 400 free relay teams.

Harder will join a West Florida swimming program that will begin its first season of competition next school year. UWF is an NCAA Division II program in Pensacola.
