Something we learned in Sunday's paper: Scott has pledged $266 million in tax breaks and other incentives in return for 45,258 new jobs. But 96 percent of the jobs have yet to materialize.

Something we learned this morning: The number of jobs that have disappeared on Scott's watch include a loss of 1,097,092 total private-sector jobs between January 2011 and December 2012.

Says the Times' Pulitzer-winning editorial board: The governor's never-ending self-promotion campaign does not reflect Florida's economic reality.
