Cory Monteith's girlfriend and Glee costar Lea Michele issued a statement following the results of toxicology reports proving the 31-year-old died of heroin and alcohol. Mostly, she wants to be left alone.
"Lea is deeply grateful for all the love and support she's received from family, friends, and fans. Since Cory's passing, Lea has been grieving alongside his family and making appropriate arrangements with them," the 26-year-old actress says in a statement to People. "They are supporting each other as they endure this profound loss together. We continue to ask the media to respect the privacy of Lea and Cory's family."
The couple have dated for more than a year, and "wants to plan the whole funeral," according to Us Weekly. They say she's also been coping with the help of her friend Jonathan Groff, with whom she costarred on Broadway during the 2006 show Spring Awakening, and as Monteith's rival Jesse St. James on Glee.
