We still have a pandemic going on, so Tampa Bay Rays fans are being asked to wear masks and keep their distance when watching the World Series together. Organizers of watch parties around the area are attempting to do just that.

The big screen will be set up on the lawn at Sparkman Wharf in downtown Tampa, where seating will be limited to maintain distance beginning at 6 p.m. Blankets are allowed, but no outside chairs or coolers will be allowed. The TVs will be tuned to the games at the Fermented Reality Biergarten and Splittsville.

The city of St. Petersburg will continue to hold watch parties on Spa Beach next to the St. Pete Pier for each game.

The Pier has set out 1,600 cones in its game watch area to guide the crowd to their individual 8-foot by 8-foot pods. The pods can contain up to six people and masks are strongly encouraged. Gates open at 6 p.m. and the pods are first come, first served at 615 Second Ave. NE in downtown St. Petersburg.
