Manatee — Melanie

Melanie is a 3-year-old mixed breed female dog. She loves meeting people and prefers male dogs. Melanie is active, curious and adventurous. She’s looking for a weekend warrior as her human bestie. She comes spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. For more information, e-mail adoptions@mymanatee.org.

Pinellas — Coal

Coal is a 7-month-old black male cat. Once he gets to know you, he likes to be petted, cuddle and sleep in his human’s bed. He talks when he wants food. He’s good with other cats and dogs. For more information, contact his current Save Our Strays foster family at 727-545-1116.

Hernando — Spot

Spot is a 6-year-old black and white male Terrier mix. He’s heartbroken after being abandoned at a doggie day camp. Spot is playful, likes going for long walks and playing outside. He doesn’t get along well with other animals, so he must be the only animal in the home. Spot is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Pasco — Peg

Peg is a 9-year-old female dog of unknown breed. She’s very friendly and has a playful side. She goes into a bow pose when she wants you to run around with her. She does have a barking problem that needs to be corrected. Peg likes going for long walks and gets along well with other animals. Hillsborough — Josie

Josie is a 3-year-old female black shiny coated retriever mix. She’s dog and cat friendly, but has little exposure to toddlers. A home with older children is recommended. She is house broken and loves to play fetch. Her foster family reports, each night she leads them to her bed and climbs in for you to say good night to her.
