Parents looking for a head start on school can stop by two Verizon retailers on July 31 to pick up a free backpack loaded with school supplies. They can also register to win a $10,000 college scholarship.
The upcoming School Rocks Backpack Giveaway will be held from 1-4 p.m. at eight TCC and Wireless Zone stores in the Tampa Bay area on July 31.
Children in grades K-12 can be registered to win a $10,000 scholarship at their local stores during the backpack event. Five scholarships will be awarded to randomly selected winners.
