Tampa Bay Noir is a walk on the shady side of Tampa Bay.
Edited by Times book editor Colette Bancroft, Tampa Bay Noir is a new addition to the Noir anthology series from Akashic Books, now more than 100 books strong.
Each anthology is based in a specific city or area and features new stories set there. All of them are written by authors who live or have lived in the location.
Tampa Bay Noir boasts 15 stories by a standout list of authors, and the Times Virtual Festival of Reading will present all of them. Check out festivalofreading.com starting Nov. 12 for three panel discussions, each featuring four or five of the writers and moderated by Bancroft.
Tampa Bay Noir contributors include Ace Atkins, Karen Brown, Luis Castillo, Michael Connelly, Tim Dorsey, Sarah Gerard, Ladee Hubbard, Danny Lopez, Gale Massey, Yuly Restrepo Garces, Lori Roy, Eliot Schrefer, Sterling Watson, Lisa Unger and Bancroft.
